Nature Park “Golden Sands” is situated by the seashore and near the town of Varna. The forest cover 70 percent of the park’s territory. The resort offers a unique combination of a calm and warm sea, age-old forest, slopes descending to a beach, covered with fine golden sand. All these natural conditions and the numeral springs favour bathing and basking, jet sports surfing, water skiing and many other water sports. The average daily temperature between July and August is 27 degrees Celsius; average water temperature is 24 degrees. The beach strip is 3.5 km long and up to 100 m wide. The curative mineral springs have a flow of up to 150 m/sec. and were also known to and enjoyed by the Thracians and Roman Caesars. Golden Sands offers numerous opportunities for sports, leisure and entertainment.

On the west side of Golden Sands is located Hostel Vitosha. It is 600 m away from the beach strip, 15 min. by foot, 2 min. by car, 18 km from Varna, 25 km from airport. You will be perfectly positioned to visit all the major attractions Golden Sands has to offer. There is a lively main street with many restaurants, bars, discos, casinos, shops and numerous other facilities. Next door is “Paradise Green Park” complex. There you may visit the “Golden Eagle” restaurant offering fine European and Bulgarian cuisine. The outdoor swimming pool is situated in a lovely garden. Enjoy a drink by the pool bar.
